I'm a very beginner in design. I want to buy a new computer and professional
software but I'm not shure whether to buy Macromedia or Adobe Products.

I know the problem very well I also bought a new System resently
I desided to buy the Adobe Creative Suite and I'm very happy with the programms.
Buy Adobe and all your problems belong to the past ;-)

I think you need both and I can`t say Adobe is better than Macromedia, or the other way round. Fact is for professional designing you need both one time a Macromedia Product is better and for an other Problem you need a Program of Adobe
