What is “Digital Media”?

Digital Media is a program of study at the University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule) Ulm.

The principles of Art, tought in subjects as Shape, Color Theory and Picture Analysis, are substantial for this course as well as technical subjects such as Information Technology, Media Technology, and Programming and therefore combines both technical and creative aspects of creating digital content.

During its 7 semesters the students have to create various types of media, such as websites, interactive CD-Roms and DVDs.

In project based lectures the students also learn to work in teams to reach the targets more efficently.
